 Hi everyone! My name is Lindsay. I grew up in the small town of Crandon in northeast Wisconsin where I participated in all kinds of sports and activities. I grew up with my favorite animals–bunny rabbits and horses in a tiny town just north of Crandon–Argonne! I am currently living in River Falls, WI and have obtained my LPC-IT (Licensed Practical Counselor in Training) from UW Stout.  My areas of focus are trauma/crisis, AODA and overall wellness. For my undergraduate, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biology from UW-Eau Claire. I absolutely loved my time in Eau Claire and am looking forward to staying in the western part of the state. 

I have experience working as a Research Assistant for two years in Dr. Jennifer Muehlenkamp’s Suicide Prevention and Research Collaborative (SPARC) Lab where I assisted in running high-risk participants through a study examining their sleep, activity, and mood in correlation with their self-harm thoughts and behaviors. Something that has also helped shape who I am today is my background and history working with the two prominent Native American Tribes in my area. The past two summers, I worked as the Summer Youth Employment Coordinator and Supervisor for the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe. Even with being from the area, I learned so much more about their culture and traditions as well as have seen the mental health adversities and drug epidemics they face. 

In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my two sisters (I am the middle child!), my friends, and my family. A few things I love include volleyball, staying active, being outside, shopping, sweets, self-care activities, and traveling! 

I will be able to provide services in various areas including but not limited to: self-esteem, coping strategies for stress, emotion regulation, the processing of grief, organizational skills, positive peer mentoring, the processing of adverse life experiences, coping skills for anxiety, and overall skills for better well-being. I am looking forward to helping people achieve their goals!

I’m a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Practical Counselor in Training (LPC-IT) and Life Coach, a hobby farm business owner (animal & bee lover), parent of two amazing girls and a former Lecturer from University Wisconsin Stout. I have over 20 years of experience in the helping profession working with children, adolescents, and adults in all capacities!  With everything that I do I take a holistic approach. I truly believe in the ripple effect where one part of your life impacts other areas of your life. Hi, my name is Wendy! I am a paraprofessional with over six years of experience providing support and advocacy to those seeking an understanding of their journey and personal experiences.  I am currently working towards my bachelor’s in social work. I am dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Each step we take through our journey makes us our true selves.

I have expertise in working with people of all ages and capabilities.  I love to be creative and open with time spent, empowering individuals and families to gain confidence within themselves and their world.  Individuals and families can create their journey, set goals, and accomplish them through collaboration.

I have a vast knowledge of alternative options, incorporating an integrative approach, for a successful individual and family journey. In addition to community connection and family relationship building, I am passionate about integrating equine into personal journeys, creating a trusting bond between people and horses. I provide Therapeutic Horsemanship services in addition to being a certified Equine Specialist through the EAGALA modality with a team approach.

 Hi, my name is Hannah! I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where I earned a 

bachelor’s degree in psychology along with a professional certificate in ethics. I’m passionate about continuing my education with a degree in clinical psychology, aiming to incorporate alternative medicine 

into a cognitive and dialectical behavioral practice. My focus is including but not limited to helping people through wellness and recovery, emotional regulation, 

coping strategies, and mentoring to address mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. From a young age, 

I was fascinated by how people think and process emotions. In high school, I began researching psychology to understand my own mind and develop healthy coping strategies, as therapy was not financially 

feasible for my family. This experience sparked my lifelong journey into the 

field. Additionally, witnessing family members struggle 

with addiction and trauma taught me how mental processes can vary and affect individuals differently. Losing my stepmother to addiction and helping my dad raise my younger sisters solidified my commitment to pursuing a career in mental health. I aspire to bring awareness, a support system, and make a real difference in people's lives, especially those who face similar challenges, by creating a safe space where they can grow and achieve their personal goals. Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy drawing, painting, playing guitar, spending time outdoors, traveling, and I am always willing to try new things! My artistic side 

helps me approach challenges with creativity and an open mind, while my positive outlook allows me to find light in even the most difficult situations. My goal and something I look forward to, is offering support for others and being a trusted guide on this journey!

Hello! My name is Kenzie. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout and majored in Rehabilitation Services. I have always loved being able to work with others from a very young age. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling the country, and barrel racing as I found it has pushed me to continue setting goals and learning new life lessons along the way. I have primarily worked with adolescents and youth while assisting them with developing skills to feel comfortable managing their own emotions, behaviors, discovering different coping mechanisms, organization, and independent life skills to fit each individual needs by utilizing natural supports in the community. I am EAGLA (Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association) certified. Horses have always played such a huge role in my life while growing up and still do to this day. Witnessing them assist peers overcome hardships and learn independent skills through a variety of exercises to improve other areas of the client’s life, like they have for myself was eye opening and makes me truly value what building a positive relationship can be made of, not only by humans, but animals being included.

Hello, my name is David! I have dedicated my career and personal life to helping those in my community that need support and guidance. I have been working with adolescents and adults for over 17 years in a variety of social service roles. This included residential treatment work with adolescents with co-occurring disorders, ISP support and development, life and job skills training, youth guidance, 4H mentoring, along with health and wellness management.  I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals as well as strive for new ones. 

When I am not working, I am spending time with family, volunteering at local community events, and serve as one of the Vice Presidents of the Lion's Club in my community.

Hello, I’m Derek and I’ve spent the last three years mentoring and assisting many consumers in developing a wide variety of skills through the CCS program and as a respite provider. My main area of focus is servicing the youth/adolescents through finding engaging and interesting activities in the community. Some of my personal favorite activities would include rock climbing/hiking, playing sports, learning new art skills, building projects and Legos, fishing, and basically anything else outdoors. Before working in CCS, I traveled around the country building gymnasiums and developed quite the experience working with my hands and power tools. I also gained life experience about what it means to work through adversity, develop a strong work ethic, and build trusting relationships. Using my skillset, I offer to assist consumers in these areas but not limited to emotional regulation, better well-being, peer support mentoring, various coping strategies, and developing self-confidence. 

When I’m not working you can find me committing time to the two things, I am most passionate about which are my family and Minnesota sports. I spend a lot of free time on the family farm with animals. When I’m not there I’m usually rooting for the Timberwolves or the Vikings!

Hi, my name is Olivia! I have completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin Stout, majoring in Criminal Justice and Vocational Rehabilitation with a minor in Psychology. I have always been deeply passionate about helping others, and I am committed to using my education and skills to support individuals in their healing journeys, empowering them to become healthier and more fulfilled versions of themselves.

Throughout my professional experience, I have worked with individuals facing substance use disorders, a variety of mental health conditions, and trauma-related challenges. I have provided education on essential topics such as healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation, job skills, self-care, and building healthy interpersonal relationships. My goal is to help individuals develop the tools and resilience they need to thrive both personally and professionally.

In my personal time, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, being outdoors, hiking, traveling, reading, and cooking. I am excited to continue my work in this field, using my experience and education to help others heal, grow, and reach their fullest potential.

Hello, my name is Jessica. I live in Menomonie, and I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from UW- Stout. I have a passion for helping others achieve their goals and live their best life. I have many years of experience working with people with disabilities and mental health. For the past 7 years I worked in case management for a long-term care program. I supported people with physical/intellectual disabilities, frail elders and low-income individuals to be as independent as possible and achieve their goals. I have experience providing community resources, housing support, employment support, organizational skills, and daily living skills. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. I love waterskiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and anything outdoors. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
